WHAT TO EXPECT
Our Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course will consist of the following:
6-hours of guided learning hours (1-Day Course Duration)
Theory covering the following topics
Roles and Responsibilities of a First Aider
Relevant health and safety regulations
Assessing an emergency situation safely
Prioritise of care
Managing an unresponsive casualty (Breathing / Not Breathing)
Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation - CPR (Adults ONLY)
Automated External Defibrillator - AED
Managing an obstructed airway
Seizures
Bleeding and Shock
Minor injuries
Instructor-led observation for all practical assessments
Closed book Assessment Exam
OPTIONAL EXTRAS - (express interest at quoting stage if applicable to your working environment)
CPR for infants and children
Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management
Life Threatening Bleed Management
Major Illnesses - Heart Attacks, Angina and Strokes

CERTIFICATION
On completion of the course learners will receive their Level 3 - Emergency First Aid at Work Certificate via email.
Your certificate will be valid for a period of 3-Years from the date of approval and will comply with HSE Regulations ‘Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981
